- After being in the food industry for 6 years, I decided that I wanted to lead a simple life without the pressures of living in the city. In 2003, I left my restaurant business in Kuala Lumpur, picked up farming tips from books and the Internet and started a 1.5 acre organic farm in Batu Arang, Selangor. I have the triad way of approacing life that is economic viability, cultural/social integrational depth and profound spiritual fullness .My intention in the beginning is to have an ashram which has the balance of the body(economy),soul(society)and spirit(spirituality). Here, I feel that I have found my paradise through the privilege of working the earth , communal living with the locals and high spiritual aspiration of the reign of God.
